Welcome to the land of the beautiful Bundjalung nation and its peoples. We pay our respects to our Elders of the past, present and the future., as they hold the memories, the traditions, the culture and future of our people.
We are a community-based and local organisation. Being an inclusive, welcoming place has helped break down many barriers for us as community and as an aged care provider. Our goal is to provide Tweed Heads aged care and respite care that enables everyone who is able – your family, friends and loved ones – to stay in our community and remain in their own homes in preference to nursing home care.
We extend our care and professionalism to all elderly in our community that are wanting support and help with home care, respite care etc.
Our Tweed Heads aged care services are here to support as many people and families as we can. Our packages provide support for elder members to live independently, with dignity and quality of life, so family time can be spent enjoying each other. We also provide welcoming respite care at our local facility at Cedric House.
Canowindra’s Tweed Heads aged care services provide:

- Cedric House five bed respite cottage
- Commonwealth home support program
- All our staff are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people
Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support Program are not exclusive to Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander people. We extend our care and professionalism to all elderly communities in need of aged services.

Over the years our service has been privileged to extend this care and support to mainstream elders in our community.
Our elders are valued members of the community; but they can be vulnerable. We are an aging population and many of our elders live alone. We understand that families are busy with so many pressures and commitments. We’re here to provide support so that you can enjoy the time you spend together. Whether that is by accessing extra support at home or having a restful break at our Cedric House respite facility.
